Below are a number of 20-minute lesson packets based on the Patriot Camp 2010 Curriculum. Each of these packets includes: theme, topic, preparation, lesson, activity and materials, and discussion questions.
The packets are intended as introductory lessons for elementary age kids to use in a Patriot Club setting or at a Patriot Party.
Patriot Clubs are small groups of kids that get together on a regular basis (monthly perhaps) to learn about our country. You can find more information on Patriot Clubs for all ages by visiting www.constitutingamerica.org.
A Patriot Party is a one-time version of a Patriot Club or Patriot Camp. Have your kids invite some friends over and do some of the lessons and activities on this page. The kids will have a great time together and learn at the same time. This is a great alternative to Patriot Clubs or Patriot Camp, when you just don't have the time or resources to commit to a monthly plan or put on a full week of activities. Try it and let us know how it goes!
